“Great,” Kuroo grins. “I’m not too worried though, Kimiko’s gonna be on her best behavior, right?"
Kimiko beams, a soft giggle erupting. “Yeah!”
“That’s my girl,” Kuroo says. He wouldn't trade her for anything else in the world.

The rational part of him says that it wouldn’t matter, because Kisumi has been friends with him since childhood, and Kisumi wouldn’t be ticked off by one bad kiss. The irrational, fearful part of him tells him that a bad kiss is just the first in a series of missteps that will spell the end of his relationship with Kisumi and thus, the end of their friendship altogether.

But Yukari doesn’t act harshly. Instead, she beams at the news, happy for her friend. “Oh, that’s so cute! I didn’t know you had a crush on her. Well, actually, I guess it kinda does make sense since you kept standing beside her bed—but anyway! That’s great, Aigis! What are you worried about?”
“I want to tell Minako-san how I feel… but I’m not quite sure how to do it,” Aigis admits, the trepidation in her voice audible.
Aigis hatches a plan to tell Minako about her feelings, acting as a secret admirer.

He’d never asked for much, but there was always a sense of comfort in knowing that he didn’t have to put in an effort toward making his birthdays special. Quark themself had been worried if it was okay for them to celebrate like this despite how tight money is, that they could go out scavenging or instead they could save the money for something more important, but Tenmyouji reassured them otherwise—Quark’s smile was always worth it to him.
