If Tomoya cried, it's almost a given that over half of the team would tear up as well. It was a strange emotional connection borne from the hard work and sleepless nights they'd witnessed each other put in for their idol career, and their leader more so than anyone.
For Hyui, it was worse. As much as Hyui was astutely familiar with the depths of Tomoya's heart and mind, Tomoya also knew him better than he knew himself and could read him like an open book. All it took was one word from Tomoya, and all the effort he made to hold back his tears would disappear in an instant. It was annoying, especially when he ended up bawling his eyes out in front of thousands of people. Either Jiang Cheng was finally accepting Lan Xichen’s genuine offer of help, or he was simply so desperate that he didn’t know what else to do.
