Summary
The start was closer to a mosaic than a tapestry, full of glassy speckles of greys and golds. She admired each burst of colour as her gaze combed along the fabric to the first clear image. The scene was enwreathed in storm clouds, erratic and pained. They circled around the two focus’s of the spectacle—A woman, slick with ichor, climbing out of a man’s skull—
Oh. That was her.
Or:
Athena has survived a lot. Her fathers head for one, his lightning too—But rejection from a single mortal proves to be her undoing. How pathetic an end for a goddess like her.
Or it would be, if the fates hadn't decided to throw her a bone.

You ever read a fanfic so good you write a fanfic of it?!
Well that's kinda what's going on here. Between reading the brilliant mer-acle 's fic Fighting to Be Loved and all her other amazing fics about Athena I decided to write a little scene where Triton finds out about Zeus striking Athena with the lightning bolt.
Triton, son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, was Athena's foster father. She was sent to Lake Tritonis and Triton's household. But Zeus caused an accident causing Triton's daughter Pallas to be accidentally killed by Athena and then she was kicked out and sent back to Mount Olympus.

Summary
“Athena,” he says, face creasing in confusion. “I thought-did we agree- I thought we were going to wait until he’s two months before resuming training, I know it’s not ideal but I can’t-”
“Odysseus,” she interrupts. An unusual feeling creeps over her; her stomach tightens, her cheeks warm. She feels the sudden urge to tug at her chiton.
Is Athena, the goddess of wisdom, embarrassed? At a simple house visit?
Not a chance, she tells herself.
“Odysseus,” she repeats, stronger this time. “At ease. I’m not here to train you or anything. I just came to deliver this.” She holds out the blanket, bound by a golden ribbon to keep its shape.

Fate, as usual, has entirely different plans.Aka, shameless Mom!Hera propaganda :)

Summary
Odysseus loves his son, so he'll begrudgingly tolerate dealing with his son's patron goddess. Even if that patron goddess is his former patron goddess who he ended on bad terms with.
