“What? Can’t a man just go on an early morning drive for once?”
Jungkook blinks at him in bewilderment. He gestures wildly to all of the junk in Taehyung’s arms and squawks. “With a boombox? And maps? At 2 AM? Where the hell are you going?” Taehyung opens his mouth to respond but Jungkook cuts him off abruptly. “And don’t you dare say you’re going wherever life takes you.” Taehyung’s mouth snaps shut, damn, Jungkook knows him too well.
“Well,” Taehyung begins, pausing for a moment. He might as well just rip it off like a bandaid. “I’m going to drive 4 hours to Busan and tell Jimin that I’m in love with him by playing an 80’s love song outside of his window like John Cusack does in the movie Say Anything.”
Jungkook blinks. They stare at each other in silence for a moment until the youngest clears his throat and speaks up.
“I think… this may be your worst idea yet.”
