It takes Rumi ten seconds to realise she isn’t in her bedroom. It takes her two minutes to realise that — no, actually, she is. It just isn’t the bedroom she remembers.

Mira looked hungry, so Celine fed her.
There are a few reasons for this. She’d been rather insistent that she needed the manilla envelope sitting on her desk in her office, needed it delivered as soon as possible to the apartment she keeps in Seoul for the days she spends in Sunlight Entertainment HQ, and it had to be one of Huntrix to bring it to her. It just so happens to have been Mira who answered.
Mostly, though, Celine feeds her because she aches for the days when all her decisions were so simple.
It's hard to see yourself reflected in a younger generation. It's harder to tell long-buried secrets-
-especially what happened on the day Rumi was born.
