Summary
Based on two Taylor Swift songs, "London Boy" and "So, Long London."
Portugal and England have known each other since they didn't even know who they were, or what they would become, and over time they forge an alliance that seems indestructible. From a timid acknowledgment to a solid alliance, their relationship evolves with patience and respect, until they face the ultimatum that tests their trust. Can this love forged between politics and power survive, or will diplomatic games destroy them forever? This story is based on my headcanon of Portugal, since I refuse to accept that Himuraya made it a copy-paste of Spain, so in my canon Portugal is a woman.
This is the translation of a one-shot I did before in Spanish, in "Versos Naufragados".Series

Summary
They have names you'd recognize on any map. But they're not what you think.
They're something older, more dangerous. Immortal beings whose passions move armies, whose secrets are written in blood, and whose actions decide the fate of the world.
With the fall of Constantinople, a brutal race to inherit the empty throne left by the Roman Empire is unleashed.
But not all the players on this board are what they seem. Alliances forged in bed are broken on the battlefield. Brothers betray each other. Lovers devour each other. And between the seas of the Atlantic and the courts of Europe, they discover that building an empire is the easy part.
The hard part is maintaining it.
Because when nations love, they do so with the intensity of centuries. And when they hate, the world bleeds.Bookmarked by gentleyman
