It was not so sixty years ago. Bereft of all the world's worries, Kieferberg's fortunes had never looked so high. Jovial, free, hardworking, morally absolute- it was a little oasis in the Tyrol, a Shambhala of the Alps. Or so they said- one could believe it, compared to how it is now.
