This is actually a prequel to the main story "Learn to fly again" which is centered on AtsuHina, but the characters acted on their own and I ended up putting also a lot of BokuAkaSamu there, and I reaaally liked how Akaashi's character developed and wanted to just... write more, so here it is.
You don't need to read "Learn to fly again" to enjoy this fanfic tho!

“Wait, are you serious?” Hanamaki started, but Mattsun cut in.
“I didn’t think you’d be the type to care about something like body count.” Mattsun’s tone was calm, but there was a subtle edge of disappointment.
“It’s not that,” Iwaizumi tried to explain, his voice faltering.
Mattsun wasn’t buying it. “Really? Because that’s exactly what it sounded like.”

This is a modern setting AU of the characters of Baldur's Gate 3 where they're friends and get together to play D&D.
It's mostly my ideas about how I think their lives could be in a modern setting and their relationships and hardships and how this is related to their D&D characters (Or their BG3 original characters). There will be drinking, drug use, some minor references to sexual abuse and/or abuse of a minor, racism, religion/cult as abuse and others. I will approach these topics the best I can and I will keep updating the tags if needed, I will also put warnings in each chapter at the beginning.
There will be a lot of chapters with different lengths, it's mostly a collection of stories of their daily lives, so please keep that into consideration.
