The Doctor leans into her hand, ever so slightly, then more obvious, and it makes something in her hum. “Did you ever feel like this was going to be a good thing at any point?”
He doesn’t answer.

What she didn’t expect was to be locked in a prison for the next thousand years with the Doctor as her jailor.
