The more he stares, he starts noticing some details that he missed on his first glance. The lack of emotion in Elysium’s usually expressive face. The emptiness in eyes that twinkle at the slightest joy he feels, replaced with a melancholic gaze that Thorns doesn’t see often on him, but it never fails to make him want to reach out and pull the Liberi into his embrace.
With too much time in his hands, and barely anything to excite his mind while being strung up on the deck, Thorns thinks about his future with Elysium.
