Remus breaks off his relationship with the Marauders after the Prank takes place, looking to spend some time alone and figure out if he wants to continue to have the same relationship he had with them before the accident. In the meantime, he meets a group of Slytherins with whom surprisingly he strikes up a new friendship.
All the characters, unfortunately, belong to J. K. Rowling, but I couldn't care less as I do not share or belief all the misinformation and bullshit she's spreading. Sending lots of love to all the trans community right now.

Barty walked to him, the pavement as light beneath his trainers as a cloud. He was skipping. He was laughing. He was crying. He was God and the Devil and Man. He was cutting the umbilical cord as he was born.
Abraxas Malfoy was crawling, and that was so fitting. On the side of his face where the airbag had impacted, there were small cuts like a dusting of weeping freckles. The skin looked raw and burned. The eye socket was swelling and the whites of the eye were spiderwebbed red.
Barty had never seen anything so beautiful.
