    Summary

Luke's parents don't understand his dream. Their dream. The boys would do anything for Sunset Curve to become legends.

Julie didn't expect her life to change when she found a 17 year old boy hiding out in her mom's old studio. Like most normal people, she expected herself to scream, call the cops, find her dad, etc., but instead, she sat with him and listened. And they bonded like she's never bonded with anyone before.

Eventually, not one, but three goofy teenage boys change her life.

[Note: This universe takes place in 2020, the boys never died and never became ghosts. They're normal teenagers, mostly.]

    Summary

Is this an AU of an AU? Maybe. Do you need to read the og AU? Probably not.

Julie doesn't quite make it in her music program at Los Feliz. She ends up in New York, where she tries as hard as she can to fit in and make music and perform. But she just can't get there. She's given an ultimatum: play when they return from spring break, or she's out of this school too. Unsure of if she wants to go home or not, or whether she should at all, Julie knows facing her family is going to be impossible. She books a flight, because she knows she should, but she can't do it. Bowing out at the last second, she gathers up her luggage and heads back to her dorm.

Only to figure out that her luggage got mixed up. The guitar inside isn't her guitar at all. It's strangely familiar and, funnily enough, it talks. Magic curses and bespelled boys turn Julie's spring break upside down and she realizes she needs to return the guitar to where it belongs, and that just so happens to be the very place she's avoiding: home.

    Summary

Julie Molina's life was on mute. Then three ghosts from 1995 turn her mom's old studio into a rehearsal space. Suddenly, she's the frontwoman of the world's first ghost-hologram band. As their songs go viral, so does the impossible spark between Julie and frontman Luke.

But playing music together is dangerous. It attracts the attention of a rival ghost with a grudge, and a cosmic entity that feeds on entropy. When a mysterious woman reveals their deaths were murder and their destiny is tangled with Julie's own family, the band must fight for their right to exist. They'll have to confront the ghosts of their past - including the one bandmate who survived and stole their legacy - to uncover secrets that will change the shape of sound forever.

A Julie and the Phantoms second season, with original songs inspired by the show.

    Summary

Julie Molina's late admission to the Manhattan School of Music means she finds herself the fourth in Sunset Curve's suite. Which would be fine, if she wasn't sharing a room with Biceps McSleeveless, the ridiculously hot jerk she watched reduce a girl to uncontrollable sobs right in front of her eyes.

Luke Patterson lost his college roommate and his rhythm guitarist when Bobby left the band, but now he's about to lose his sanity because he cannot stop thinking about the gorgeous wrecking ball of talent sleeping just feet away from him. It's too bad she loathes every fiber of his being.

    Summary

She glanced up nervously at the boys and finally let out a small breath, “You don’t really have to wear it, and this is probably totally crazy to tell you all of this, but it’s just my coping mechanism. To create something. Even if it’s not music yet.”

“We’re all a little crazy,” Luke admitted with a soft smile on his face and asked to keep the bracelet for himself. The weight of the bracelet on his wrist felt comforting and he kept it on for the rest of the night.

    --

After their show, Julie gives Sunset Curve a bracelet that she made to honor her mom and make it feel like she was still with her. She didn’t anticipate that the members of Sunset Curve, specifically their lead singer, would be taking the sentiment so literally. She especially didn’t anticipate him to make a video of all the times he wore the bracelet in hopes of reconnecting with her.

    or

Luke wears the bracelet Julie made to honor her mom and posts on the band's instagram until they can finally meet again.
