He’s actually pretty popular within the Clans, with his easy-going smile and laid-back sense of humor, and the fact that he’s not terrible to look at. One time, Hollyleaf admitted to him that she was envious of how easy it was for him to open up and make friends with anyone, and Mousewhisker almost told her that it stems from a desperate desire to be accepted and he’s mastered the art of changing aspects of himself to better fit the mold of whatever others want him to be.
But he was worried she would think that was lame, so he just smiled and shrugged.

Summary

**MAJOR ASC THUNDER SPOILER AHEAD**
As her wild gaze reached the roots of the oak, Shadowsight watched as beside him, Puddleshine shifted his eyes to his paws, tail twitching awkwardly as he waited for Frostpaw to pass him by. Swallowing hard, Shadowsight lifted his eyes to meet her’s, to give the young cat at least some semblance of support. As they did, like a lightning strike on a dead tree, the anxious itch under Shadowsight’s pelt ignited into a blaze.
As they held each other’s gazes for what felt like an eternity, Shadowsight saw something that it seemed no one else at the gathering was willing to see. That no one else was able to see.

When Frostpaw and Nightheart finally reveal the truth about Riverclan at the Gathering, Shadowsight learns that he has a little too much in common with the young Riverclan apprentice, and makes an adrenaline-fueled rash decision.
