Summary
My version of World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls.
This starts very similarly to the original, but starts to diverge later on.
Written more or less as though I were writing a novelisation of an episode, with bit more obvious (okay a lot more obvious) Twelve/Missy later on, because obviously I couldn't resist that!

Summary
The Master has managed not to think too much about Jack Harkness in the last several months, but there’s no more wedding planning, no more Prisoner Zero or underwater tyrants or Egg to blot him out, and the distant nibbling concern is starting to gnaw. Because at some point in all of history, Jack seems to become the Master’s friend, and he needs to become the Master’s friend, and the Master has no idea how or when or why that begins.
In which Donna and the Master and their psychic bond commit a Time Crime, everyone loves weddings except Jack Harkness, a bunch of families get bigger, and things escalate every day all the time (which can be whenever you want, because you are in a time machine).

Summary
“That’s what you have in mind,” the Master says. “Take wonderful Donna and her boyfriend on a tour of the stars, and I’ll tag along too and not do anything nasty. You’ll fix me, will you? Doctor, you are funny.”
The Doctor is supposed to die, or so say the Ood. But maybe there’s another way, a way to save everyone including himself. Or: the story of when the tenth Doctor saved the Master and Donna but accidentally gave them a psychic link, and they all went to space with the world’s best fiancé (that’s Shaun).
