Summary
The Hero regards the underground doctor for a moment, disgust seeping into his face so quickly before vanishing that Yakuro thought he was seeing things. “In this trunk,” the Hero begins, “is something that needs to disappear. I don’t require it back, and I don’t need to hear from you ever again about it unless it’s found by someone else. If you understand what I need of you for this job, I will pay you… handsomely,” the last part grits out, as if the money spent on this feels wasteful to the Hero.
It makes Yakuro nervous.
But it never shows on his face, only a nod of understanding with a murmur of “yes.”
The Flame-Hero clicks open the trunk, nearly ripping it off in his obvious haste. What is inside, you may ask?
A simple, black trash bag.
