Summary
Chloe turns to watch him go, then frowns. “Lucifer, wait!”
He freezes mid-step, his shoulders tense, then he turns around to look at her with a raised quizzical eyebrow. “Detective?”Looking away from the blood drop she spotted on the floor, she follows the trail where it stops…at Lucifer. “You’re bleeding…” Chloe crosses the room to him, grabbing his left hand where it was hidden behind his back to look at it.
He instantly stiffens when she touches him, like he always does with non-sexual touch. “It’s quite all right, Detective. I’m sure it will heal,” Lucifer says mildly, trying to pull his hand away.
After Chloe tells Lucifer he makes her feel vulnerable, she notices his bleeding hand and insists on patching him up.
