The first game Harry ever learned to play was Keep Away.
That being said, he only counts it as such because Dudley had described it as a game, that first time. In reality, it was more of a cruelty than anything.
Six times Harry and George happen to play a game together, and the one time that Harry plays for keeps.
(Disclaimer: This is a 6+1 in the way that flavored seltzer is a soda. By definition, that is what it is. But the flavor part (6+1 trope) is background to the seltzer part (plot and Harry's experiences), specifically in the later chapters as everyone gets older.)

Summary
So despite the heaviness in his chest when he forces himself out of bed and to the bathroom, he clocks in for work every day, following after Ranpo. Ranpo doesn’t mention the odd change in behaviour, though Dazai is certain they noticed.
When night falls, Ranpo tucks himself into bed, leaving the night light on. He doesn’t wake from nightmares anymore, falling asleep before Dazai can even blink. He always looks so much more peaceful that way.
(Dazai catches himself staring more often than not.)

“Maybe you guys just need to get out there,” Yosano tells them, tone skeptical. “You’ll find someone if you look hard enough.” She turns to Ranpo, and adds, “I doubt you even need to find something real; I’m sure someone would be willing to pretend in front of your parents.” She swivels to face Dazai. “And you need, what, someone to make your ex jealous?” she guesses. “There have got to be tons of people who’d quite willingly make out with you, just do it in front of him.”
“Someone to pretend,” Ranpo repeats aloud. “Something fake to fix our problems - it doesn't need to be real at all, of course! That makes it so much easier!”
In unison, his and Dazai's heads move once more, slowly turning until their eyes meet. In that moment, it becomes blindingly obvious who the perfect choice is.Ranpo and Dazai's relationship is just a performance to achieve their goals. The fact that they revel in kissing each other and have more fun when laughing in tandem is irrelevant, of course.

Aphrodite waves it off. “Same thing, really. My children keep leaving me make-up and chocolate. Other people leave flowers. They’re sweet, but at least Percy Jackson offers something less habitual. I hate boredom.”
“You love chaos, and plotting, like with Reyna,” Apollo translates, and starts drinking her wine because, what in Hades, might as well. He needs a drink. “So I was a negative that needed fixing?”
“You are, yes,” she nods, no remorse to it, and Apollo wonders why he decided to go through with this.

“Exactly!” Ranpo claps their hands together. “We’ll go all out—I’m talking making out during office hours, disappearing to the bathroom together, calling each other stupid pet names, refusing to be separated when we don’t want to do work. Just imagine how everyone will react!”
Dazai considers this. He does rather enjoy annoying his coworkers—Kunikida especially. And no one in the office will be more perturbed by Dazai and Ranpo suddenly being an obnoxious couple. It’ll make Atsushi squirm. Sigma and Tanizaki will try to hide their discomfort until it eventually turns to annoyance, which will be hilarious. Naomi will just laugh at everyone.
Plus it’ll catch Chuuya so far off guard they won’t even know what hit them. It’s the perfect plan.
“Okay,” Dazai agrees. “Let’s do it.”
or: dazai kills a man, gets a boyfriend, has a gender crisis, confronts his own humanity, and starts to heal. not necessarily in that order.
