Summary
Hyeju wakes up to an unsettling silence. The birds don’t chirp, and the sunrise is more red than pink, looking almost as if the sky is bleeding.
The clouds that gather above her are covering a bit too much of the sky for the weather to be considered sunny.
And Gowon’s hair is golden.
Hyeju knows, without a doubt, that Eden is unraveling. And they might all go with it.

They laugh, not cruelly, but there’s something in their tone that stings.
