She only remembers that strange comment again hours later, in the faculty restroom, washing her face in the sink and pushing her distinctly peppermint-scented hair out of her face. Han Sooyoung wrinkles her nose — it’s definitely not flowers or strawberries or whatever the usual shampoo smell is, but it’s not altogether unpleasant. She’s not about to buy it again next time she can’t find her usual brand, though, if it’s strong enough that her students can smell it. Or maybe Lee Jihye is just a weirdo. Equally likely.
Now that she thinks about it, the scent is kind of familiar. But that’s probably just her imagination.
People keep commenting on Han Sooyoung’s new shampoo. She’s got much bigger concerns, like how to stay in touch with the lead actress of her novel’s movie adaptation.
