When the knowledge hits her, when the rest of Cobra Kai lifts her in celebration, and when her fingers wrap around one of the cylinders that shape the trophy, her heart fills up with a feeling that is foreign to her. Pride. She’s fucking proud of herself.

Looking disappointed, Yasmine huffs in annoyance, but after a few beats her eyes go wide "No, wait. For real? Don't tell me you went for the sapphic route?"

"How do you know they don't exist?"

Summary
Just the idea of Lena kissing her, is a lot and she’s shocked at how much she wants her to do just that. It makes sense, in this moment, casting spells and making unions. It could be another way in which they could truly connect their bodies and oh, Rao, this is new. Is this new? Kara’s not sure she knows anymore.
Maybe it’s the magic, the connection of the spell, binding them as one in some way Kara can’t comprehend, nor understand, or maybe it’s something that’s always been there? A longing, dormant in the back of her mind, waiting for a spark to awaken it. Her heart, her feelings. Lena.

She’s been waiting for this phone call for the last twenty-four hours and now she's staring at the missed call banner. Somehow she already knows that calling back isn’t going to work out in her favor, so instead she closes her eyes and clicks on the voicemail.
“Hi Lena, this is Kara Danvers! I got your messages, all seven of them. I’m so sorry that we didn’t have a chance to sit down this week in person, although it sounds like you’ve had your hands full at work. I have some stuff I need to take care of before we leave, so I’ll have to meet you at the airport. Since I’m cutting it a little close, I’ll send a courier to pick up my ticket from you this afternoon. And Lena? Take a deep breath. This is all going to be fine. Your ex-fiancée will wish she’d never left you and your family will think we’re in love. Trust me. Look, I’ve got to go, but I’ll see you at the airport. Can’t wait to meet you.”
