Someone chuckled awkwardly and when no one said anything, Shane threw his arms out to the side just as Harris made his way towards the disaster.
Shane looked the reporter straight in the eyes. “Sure! My sex life is fantastic. My husband is hot. Ten out of ten. Any more questions?”

Summary
This is a sorta fix-it. For when Scott asks Kip to move in with him he forgot the simple fact that his door has always more closely resembled a revolving one as people come and go bringing their problems with them and the Good Captain Scott Hunter fixes them as best as he can. Allowing for Kip to have the opportunity to be brought closer to Scott's hockey world and allows him to better understand what Scott is really risking in regards to coming out while still playing hockey. Also, helps to break down that Scott only sees his value in his usefulness and Kip is determined to make him understand that his value is inherent just by existing and is NOT a reward he gets from helping others.
Vaughny also pops up a lot. He's clueless but he's got heart... and tacos

Summary
"You know," Ilya said, not looking away from the TV, a smile teasing the corners of his mouth, "Most people can entertain themselves for more than five minutes without needing attention."
Shane blinked, caught. "Oh- I'm not—"
"You've been watching me instead of the hockey game. It is adorable, Shane."
Ilya really had an ego tonight.
Shane stumbled over his next words a bit, struggling to retort.
"Whatever. Neither teams are playing well, I have nothing else to look at."
"I think you are quite desperate for me Shane, always want attention..."
The words affected Shane more than Ilya intended, causing Shane's eyebrows to furrow. There was affection buried underneath the mockery, but there was also power. Ilya wielding it like he always did when he got the upper hand.
That's when something shifted in Shane's chest. A spark of competitive fire that Ilya had just lit without meaning to. Shane would show Ilya desperate, starting tomorrow, when they would be home together all day.
A single day. One rule. By sunset, one of them will be completely undone.
