"You could do anything you wanted with me, Babe. Just tell me what you want." Lance heard himself say low, sultry, and entirely without his rational brain intervening. He could practically hear the minds of the Galra in the room grinding to a halt.
Great, now when the rest of the team rescued Shiro, he'd have to tell them "Lance died after flirting with the enemy. There was nothing I could do. I think we all knew this was inevitable."
"You should be throwing yourself upon the Commander's mercy, not mine," The Druid stood and grinned down at Lance.
Ah well, what was the french saying? 'When the wine is drawn, you have to drink it' or something. He leaned slightly to give him direct line of sight to the Commander.

Summary
Lance has spent the past five years of his life taking account of what he loves about Keith. He loves his eyes and laugh, his crooked teeth and moppy hair, his morning voice and secret smiles. But as he soaked in his appearance in the bathroom mirror, he couldn’t think of a damn thing.
His fingers roamed across his chest, skimming the bruises and the irritated, red bite marks adorning his neck and shoulders. They roamed up, finding the sickening yellow shadow of a hand around his throat.
His fingers found their places, mimicking the hand that had left the ache, and there was only one thought circling in his mind, repeated like a mantra, or rather, a prayer.
“I wish we had never met.”

“You just begged the cosmos for a night to show me- to show me how much you loved me,” Lance blurted out. “I'm telling you that you can have it.”

It festered inside him.
It left him immobile. Frozen, but at the same time his fists wouldn’t stop shaking, his eyes twitching, his breath bated as each exhale wracked his body in unrecoverable and relentless grief. But yet Shiro woke up. He couldn’t stop here. Once again he needed to grit his teeth, pull himself together, and get out the door. He needed to find him again. And again. And again. And again.
He needed to for Lance.
Sometimes Shiro was close enough to feel Lance’s heartbeat through the crevice of his neck. Sometimes he was so far, he didn’t know what happened until the world fell beneath his feet once again.
He finally was able to learn his feelings for Lance.
But not without consequences.
Shiro couldn't stop it.
But he knew what he had to do.
Whether it was being ripped into two by the hands of their enemies, having been crushed under twenty thousand tons of torn metal, or even having to tear his own teammates apart… it was all to protect Lance.
Right?

Once the thunderous sound of blood in his ears quietened to a dull throb, Lance took note of how loud his breathing was in the small space. The heady rush of adrenaline was making all of his senses heightened, and all he could feel was how hot and tight the space was, how little room he had to move. There was the thick scent of Keith’s clothes around him, earthy, deep and metallic.
Lance swallowed. Maybe hiding in Keith’s closet wasn’t such a good idea.
