Whatever he had seen there made him snap back from his previous state, a flabbergasted expression taking over his face. Groaning, he released his elbows and slumped back to the bed, bringing his forearm to cover his eyes.

He was also familiar with Shang-shixiong's habit to freeze up when confronted about the sources of his knowledge, and was regrettably on the usual strict schedule the clinical rounds required.
“Could shixiong suggest a few mood stabilisers that might be suited to Shen-shixiong’s treatment?” Mu Qingfang asked.
“Mu-shidi! Ah! What are you doing here? Ah—”
