Yes, I enjoy murdering and eating people, but I can't tell you I enjoy sexual submission. How odd, even for Hannibal.

Or, in which Will gets Hannibal drunk so he'll admit he likes to be dominated.

    Summary

They’ve only been taking care of Abby for a few weeks, but she’s already making it clear that she likes Will’s little farmhouse far better than Hannibal’s gothic mansion. Will is crediting the dogs; Hannibal is blaming his lack of kid-friendly decor. It may well just be that Will’s house is somewhere she gets to go, while Hannibal’s house is somewhere she has to be—technically only Hannibal is her legal guardian, since Virginia isn’t big on letting two unattached men adopt a child together. Hannibal joked that they should just get married, but Will can’t imagine that having been a serious offer. They’d known each other for barely a week.

Hannibal and Will realize their feelings for each other after their young daughter forces them closer than either of them had intended to get

    Summary

“Hannibal.” Alana says, her voice breaking on his name. It brings his attention back to her, and now he finds grief so powerful it hits him right against his ribcage. “Hannibal… It’s been days. I don’t think they’re going to find Will’s…” She pauses to swallow against the tears. “You didn’t kill him. I know you didn’t. But I don’t think he’s alive.”

“Will Graham is resilient.” He bites back, though the first strings of doubt are starting to creep across his senses, no matter how hard he tries to push them down. He looks away, not wanting to see her heartbroken expression. “He is resourceful and clever, and stronger than you believe.”

There’s another pregnant pause before she speaks again. “You were a psychiatrist, Hannibal. You know what the stages of grief are. You’re in denial.”

    Summary

The first time Hannibal Lecter saw Will Graham was in the middle of spring, April 3rd, 1978. Hannibal remembered seeing Matron usher another kid inside the orphanage: unruly curls sticking out from his head, cheeks round, an innocent facade. Hannibal thought he’d be just like the other kids—shallow, boring, simple. Nothing more than another story of parents abandoning a child they found annoying and unwanted.

But no. How mistaken he had been.
