This is the first time I've been super serious about a fic, my writing is SUPER rusty.
You used to be TV-Worlds second best star, a radio host at the top of the line. But when radio went sour, and the stalkers started to scare you, you stepped down. And since then you've worked post production at TV-TIME&CO, until now. Recently you were promoted to be a personal secretary for the man himself! And god he's absolutely not what you had initially expected him to be.

Your boss, Mr. Ant Tenna, hasn't seemed all here ever since. As one of dozens of employees, his emotional state isn't really your business, and as your boss, he probably shouldn't be putting this on you... But maybe, as friends, or even something more, that doesn't matter so much. -

Perhaps this was a good sign. A step in the right direction and away from his downwards spiral of uuuggghhhh. Because the way Mettaton saw it, he now had one of two options.
One: retreat to the lukewarm comforts of a lumpy couch until he became one with the cushions and waited until the inevitable heat death of the universe collapsed onto him to finally end the soul-crushing boredom.
Or two: watch whatever the hell was on his newly acquired TV.
Alone and bored to death, Mettaton looks for a way to pass the time while the Internet is down. Good news, he does. Bad news... uh, it’s totally normal to want to kiss your recently acquired TV, right? (asking for a friend, haha...)
