“Well, there’s this band,” she starts, then glances out towards the audience, who waits for her answer with baited breath. “Kings of Winter. Their guitarist is pretty cute. Jon Snow? Definitely crush-worthy.”

When she glances over, he looks like he’s cringing at himself, which is sweet. He seems sweet. But that’s not what this is, and she needs to stick to her guns and not let herself get swept away in a non-existent romance. She needs to stop being so Sansa.
“I don’t think so,” she says, phone clutched in her hand. “I-”
“Nope, got it,” he cuts in. “Just figured I’d ask.”
She gives him one last smile before she leaves, the door shutting behind her with a gentle click.

Sansa’s ready. Light. Playful. Casual. He picks up after two rings.
"Hey," Jon says. "I was just about to call you."
She opens her mouth and her voice gets buried under the weight of all the things she promised herself she wouldn't say.
What finally escapes is soft, almost apologetic:

“Hello Mister Manager,” the one girl, a redhead, says with a serene smile. If it weren’t for the flush to her cheeks and the way she’s choosing her words a little too carefully, he might almost think she weren’t drunk.
