  Summary

  Regulus wanted to hate him. He really really wanted to hate Sirius. Fuck, he left him there. He left his baby brother in that house, with their parents. Sirius left him there knowing how bad it really was within those walls. Regulus would give anything to hate his brother. But how could he? Sirius had gotten out, and was safe away from all of this. Sure, the fact he was now taking all the mental and physical hits for the both of them was unfair. However, he just couldn’t bring himself to be mad at his brother for getting the thing that he deserved. A safe, happy, stable home. So yeah, Regulus really wanted to hate Sirius for leaving him, but he didn’t. If anything, he was proud of him. He just wishes he had his brother back.
