After revealing the truth of Mari's death in the hospital, Sunny's mother runs into an emergency in the city, leading to the boy being housed by the Rivera family until further notice. The five of them visit Mari's grave daily, occasionally together, dealing with their trauma and grief in their own ways.
One day, Hero visits Mari as usual, but he brings her old picnic basket with him to have a date together. Hero was having a good time, rambling on about the kids with a soft smile resting on his lips. He was gradually healing from her death, starting to feel happy bit by bit.
