Summary
Luka is the best. An angel– fiercely trained to balance on blades and dance on bleak layers of frost. No one comes close to dethroning the ruler of the ice as he debuts his programs for the upcoming season– his angelic persona seemingly unshakeable.
Hyuna is finally free. Her once frozen heart has at last begun to thaw after a lifetime of regret. Ironically, she’s found warmth on the ice, expressing herself through her skating gives her a sense of freedom she could once only dream of. She couldn’t be happier– constantly moving forward is her way of life.
However, a rekindled relationship finally threatens to knock the two off of their skates, as Luka struggles to reignite the flame of a past connection and Hyuna fights against her shackles to the past. She longs to rid herself of the chains, but finds years of built up turmoil storming in her heart. In the middle of the season– under the crushing weight of the audience’s gaze– the angel finds the ice melting beneath him and the warmth of fragile bonds extinguishing in his frigid hands.
