Summary
Duke Kinard was already waiting at the altar. His back was turned, but from what Buck could make out of him, they were about the same height and build. Buck took his first few steps. The Duke never turned to look at him, but everyone else did.
Other than his mother, there were no familiar faces. No encouraging looks. No real smiles. Everyone here was a stranger and they probably couldn’t even begin to understand why this was happening at all.
He held his head high and before he knew it, he was there. The Duke turned.
Buck was stunned.
Blue eyes met his with a stoic expression. He had a jaw that could have been used to cut glass, a dimpled chin. An aquiline nose that fit him perfectly. Duke Kinard was without a doubt, the most attractive man that Buck had ever met and he was about to become his husband.

Regency AU. Tommy thought he would never marry anyone, let alone a man. Buck had no real choice between marrying a man or a worse fate. Neither knew that being married to each other would be the best thing that could have ever happened to them.

He found Maddie in the kitchen, boiling water for tea. It was another part of the ritual. Sometimes they talked about what Buck had been telling Robbie, but most of the time they just caught up. Talked about work. Talked about Buck’s new place.
“You don’t like to fly,” Maddie said, making a questioning face.
Buck ducked his head. “I don’t.”

Tommy receives a picture of a fridge full of baked goods. Mostly, from what he can tell, loaves. The picture comes from Eddie without a caption. It takes a while for him to realize that the fridge is familiar because it belongs to Evan.Eddie texts him a few minutes later:
Every time he thinks about calling you, he bakes something instead.
Tommy has a little bit of a breakdown about that because maybe in his mind he'd thought that Evan would already be over it, over them. He'd been not hoping for it, but expecting it, even while he knew that he would probably have a few more cries about it and that any reminder of Evan was enough to make his heart hurt.
