Likewise, Bucky Barnes fell in love with Lieutenant Alice May Cassidy of the Army Nurse Corps in 1943. Not many people know how it happened besides Steve, Peggy and Howard, or what occurred in between 1945 and 2015. Neither have thought much about it, until a night in the compound with a few drinks leads to Sam asking how the story goes. What begins as a brief explanation turns into a detailed account of how Alice and Bucky fell in love and through the odds found each other again.
