“What is it, Anakin? Dear me, you look faint.” Obi-Wan knelt beside Anakin, but before they could touch, his Master frowned, a wrinkle forming between his brows. “Why do you… What is that? What happened to your Force signature?”
“I think I’m… possessed? Or not possessed, he said he’s not possessing me.”
“Who did?”
“The voice in my head who’s twenty-two, knows Hutt-slang, and is kind of a Force entity,” Anakin said, trying to lighten the mood. Considering the way the color fled Obi-Wan’s face, he’d failed spectacularly.

To be honest, the cat wasn't actually Shen Yuan's but the cat of Shen Yuan's father's second wife. Still, even if the cat was technically Shen Jiu's, he was always leaping over the wall of Shen Jiu's part of the estate and Shen Yuan had ended up growing quite close to him.
Xuehua perked up as Shen Yuan drew closer, stretching a little then padding over to wind in between Shen Yuan's legs. Satisfied, he let out a soft meow then hopped nimbly onto Shen Yuan's shoulder bumping his furry little head against Shen Yuan's cheek. Ah! This cat was really too cute!

It's a place so saturated with residual qi that a guide is necessary, lest one make zero headway into the woods or, worse, get forever lost in the endless maze of trees. The best fit for the job is a fellow Immortal known only as the Turtle Sage, whose knowledge of the Forest is all that will get Shen Qingqiu to the plant and back home safely.
He expects the Sage to be a grisled, half-feral man, bushy and wild and smelly -- not, you know, an actual turtle.
