Aerion only took a step before he stilled once more. His son slowly turned toward his direction, their eyes meeting. Aerion's face contorted into confusion, then he spoke.

"Father... I think something is wrong."

Then Aerion fell to his knees.

    Summary

Aerion was known to be the Monstrous. A Prince to be wary of because of his tendency to be cruel, to be manipulative and destructive all at once.

He was destined to go mad and die, like many other Targaryens… before and after him, alike.

But, if given the chance to try once more, to make different choices and to change the course set by the Gods themselves—

would the Mad Prince take the chance to make it into a blessing—to take it a second chance at life, or would he see it a curse—a punishment and hell, just another thing to destroy carelessly… to run away from?

    Summary

What a woe it is to be a Targaryen (via marriage that is), in an era of no dragons.

That said Argelle Baratheon’s grandmother was a Targaryen, so it's already in the blood, and blood has a way of demanding its due. Perhaps Argelle has the typical Targaryen madness because she remembers vaguely a past life where Westeros was fiction.
