Phil lifts an arm up for Dan, who is already winding himself around him like he’s been here before, like these are well-trodden paths.
“I can’t believe we just saw that.” Dan’s chin rests on Phil’s shoulder as he speaks. It’s too soft, all of this, too much and just so lovely.
“I can’t believe you’re here. Like, you’re so fucking real.” Phil smiles back, he can’t help himself, fixing the strands of hair still left unruly from minutes before. Dan lays his head back down so he can watch out the window still, but a smile plays with his features.
