Izuku is sprawled on the back seat, angelic, divine, a deity fallen to wonder in suffering amongst lesser men. Men like Katsuki. Izuku's lashes flutter from the light breeze that flows in curling streams through the open windows, ruffling his dark curls where they rest upon the faux leather, and Katsuki can't pull his eyes away from the rearview mirror.
He's as beautiful now as the night they met.
Despite everything Katsuki couldn’t help but smile when he thought back to the first time he set eyes on Izuku.
Izuku had titled his head, considered Katsuki and seemingly decided he was safe enough. There had never been a more momentous mistake made by such a godly being.
