Summary
Alhaitham’s agency throws him into a livestream dating show. As expected, he rejects everyone. Rudely.
“Name a key scientist involved in the laws of thermodynamics.”
“Newton?”
“What is your stance on Dialectic of Enlightenment?”
“Dia-what?”
“Name a philosopher. As an advantage, a dead one.”
“...”
“Next.”It shouldn't have been as surprising when someone finally snaps.
“Do you even know the answers to these questions, or are you just waiting for someone to say Ibn al-Haytham to boost your own ego?”
Or: The internet is privy to Alhaitham falling in love on camera.

Summary
“This is a disaster.”
“We’ve been through worse disasters.”
“No.”Chuuya’s married, miserable, and in love—all with the same man. A man who hates him.
It doesn’t matter that they lead the Mafia together. It doesn’t matter that they share a bed during ruts and heats. Under it all, Chuuya knows it’s only circumstantial expectations. Knows Dazai would never forgive him. Not after what he did three years ago.
Still, he’d do anything to keep the Port Mafia alive. To give Dazai the freedom he once dreamed of.
If only these nosy, meddling kids would stop sniffing around his freaking grave.

Summary
Kaveh remembered the stories. Cattle that were sacred. Cattle that were never to be touched.
“Please. I’m sorry. I’ll do anything. If it’s punishment you want—or justice—I’ll take it. Just spare them. Some of them are still kids.”
The god tilted his head. Stepped closer. Looked Kaveh over like he was something to be carved open.
“Anything?”
Kaveh swallowed. “Y-yes.”
Or: Kaveh’s juniors pissed off a god. Kaveh offered himself in their place. He didn’t expect the punishment to last a lifetime. And he definitely didn’t expect to enjoy it.

Summary
Turns out, moving on sometimes means moving right into a very complicated, very entangled, and quite frankly, very hot, new problem.
The trinkets were nothing significant.
“Oh, this one is sweet!”
“Mm. It’s Basbousa.”
“And this? It’s—wait. Wow. The cream is nice.”
“They called it Knafeh there.”
“Knafeh… Can you get more of it next time?”
“No.”Alhathaim would proceed to bring more next time.
He’d watch Kaveh's eyes light up, and tell himself it was a benign form of closure, a distant echo of a protection he could no longer offer.
(Or: The multiverse said “heal” and Alhaitham said “fine, but I’m taking your boyfriend too.”)

Summary
“I’m fine!” Kaveh shouted, breathless. “I caught the web!”
Alhaitham barely managed to exhale—
“I don’t think he’ll be fine, Spider-Man.” The Doctor’s voice.
A sandy tendril, gleaming with glassy sharpness, snapped through the air—
And sliced clean through the web-line.
For one sickening second, the world held still. Then—
Kaveh was falling.
A world where Spider-Man fails. Mourns. Then, after some years, he falls into an alternate dimension where Kaveh is alive. Exactly the same eyes, same hair, same voice, same attitude. Minus a scar on his temple.
