i reallllyyy wanted to give sheila more character than being the one dimensional pretty, nice body, cold and mysterious girl that gets in the way of plot

Summary
Katara is halfway through parting out bits of hair for her hair-loopies when she hears voices coming from the other side of the (unfortunately thin) wall.
“Sleep well?” Zuko’s voice murmurs, rough with sleep.
Someone hums in response, and Katara’s about to pound on the wall and make fun of Zuko for having someone in bed with him, when the person speaks up.
“Pretty good, yeah,” Sokka says. Katara’s fist pauses halfway through it’s trek to the wall, held up in mid air.

Or, five times that Katara notices how close Sokka and Zuko are, and the one time she realises just how Close they really are.

And there he was, right in the middle of the grass.
Zuko just seemed to stand there, smiling and admiring the moon and the stars above him and sometimes letting out a long sigh. The pale light of the moon and the absence of any fire whatsoever almost made him look otherworldly, like a spirit that was just on a visit to their world. It was still summer, so the night was almost as hot as the day, but the wind that swept through the trees was fresh and made the hairs on Sokka's bare arms suddenly stand up.

He felt himself being drawn to staring into those eyes, that with each second seemed to dilate more. They were so unbelievable beautiful, Sokka thought. Like a raging fire, like Agni himself, as if he had chosen to leave the sky and settle into the eyes of the man on top of him. And Sokka might have hit his head way harder than expected, because they seemed to be getting closer, and closer, and...

Summary
It isn’t long before he commits Zuko’s own sleeping patterns to memory, because the firebender wakes not long after Sokka, and that’s while Sokka’s still getting up stupidly early because he sweats too much in his sleep.
It takes less than a week for Sokka to prod Zuko about it. “Dude. You know you need sleep to run a country, right? Like, more than a nap’s worth of sleep.”
__In which Zuko doesn’t sleep nearly enough once he takes up the throne, and Sokka isn’t having it. And maybe they get to fall in love on the way, as a treat.

Summary
Iroh insists they create a new life and identity in Ba Sing Se. Zuko wants nothing more than to bide his time until his next opportunity to return home, until he realizes ‘Lee’ can get away with things Zuko never could.
Zuko dons the mantle of the Blue Spirit again only to lose his focus when the Avatar comes to the city. This time, however, his attention is drawn to the annoying Southern Tribe warrior.
