Summary
Gojo Satoru was tired. It felt like a lifetime since his days as a student at Jujutsu High, since the days when he'd felt whole and happy. He loved his students, he truly did, but they were the future, and he believed they would surpass him soon enough, while he, at his very core, was a man stuck in the past. He wished to create a better future, sure, with less death and backward thinking, but the shards of his dream that had survived Suguru leaving had been smashed to dust exactly a year ago.
So he let it go.
(Or: dying Gojo sends his memories back to his seventeen-year-old self)

Summary
Megumi blinks open his eyes. Assaulted with the bright white of a hospital room, he almost wishes he hadn’t, but nonetheless turns his gaze to whoever is with him. A big burly man, hair so red that Megumi assumes it’s dyed, stands before him, young but skin dug into with frown lines and faint stress wrinkles. Megumi half jokes to himself that the man might be worse off than Nanami.
He opens his mouth to speak, the question of what happened and where Gojo is on the tip of his tongue. Only when he attempts to voice his words, nonsensical babbling replaces his speech and Megumi wants to scream.
OR: Fushiguro Megumi dies at the hands of his mentor inorder to prevent the King of Curses - Ryoumen Sukuna - from destroying and enslaving the world.
He is reborn as Todoroki Shouto, son and number 1 hater of Endeavor, wondering why he couldn’t just die in peace.

While awaiting his liberation from the sealing, Satoru is thrust into another dimension. Life there seems fun in a similar way to his (meaning there are things here trying to decimate humanity), except it is also vastly different (meaning the people there suck!).
And then there‘s also that one dark-haired gloomy dude that doesn‘t leave him alone (and also doesn‘t ever leave his mind either, ugh).…
Or: At this rate most likely a trillion chapters of bi-disaster Sung Jinwoo pining for and simultaneously hating the enigma that is Gojo Satoru.

Summary
Gojo Satoru loved Lord of the Rings. It was no Digimon, of course, but still a solid classic.
When he was younger
and Suguru wasn't evil or deadhe'd imagine himself there. He'd still be the strongest, obviously, but he'd go through the potential scenarios.As bizarre as his life got at times, even in death he had never thought he'd actually end up there.
