Summary
Entry one, ten days after waking up.
I have no memories before waking up alone on the road, not even a name, or age. I do know, though, that something is happening around me, hence the journal.
The few people I’ve met have fallen into two categories; running away the moment I’m seen, or having no acknowledgment of my existence...besides trying to touch my head. The ones that run can speak, and often talk to one another--but I have yet to remember what they are saying or how to replicate those sounds. The second group chase after the first surprisingly fast for how they shuffle during the day.
Anyway, that’s off-topic. This journal is to be used as a record of my observations of both groups, and hopefully, a place to potentially recall anything from the past I can remember. To keep this journal from being overrun with entries, new entries will only be made when something unexpected happens.
