“Just something to say ‘I miss you’ for Heir’s Return tomorrow.” They mutter.

"I know you are there." Chara calls out pointedly, already raising their knife. "Either show yourself, or quit stalking me."
A movement by one of the pillars catches their attention, and they whirl around to watch another human emerge from behind it, quivering. Only, they don't... seem very human. For one, they're vaguely translucent and almost glowing. Another is that they're hovering a few centimeters above the stone flooring.
They stare at Chara in something that resembles fear and confusion, already shuffling back again as if trying to escape.
"Yeah, no. Get back here."
orchara and frisk swap places! this is definitely a completely original idea i have definitely not stolen from anywhere. totally.

Summary
A year or so has past since Monsterkind has been freed.
A little place called Hometown sits at the base of mt Ebott, a town consisting of monsters who go about their normal, daily routine. This normality is swiftly upended, as a young human teen - one who the monsters have never seen before - suddenly appears in Hometown.
Spurred at this exciting, new prospect, the bluebird monster Martlet - local carpenter and craftsmonster - excitedly takes the new human across a tour of Hometown, determined to show all the wonderous things the town has to offer.
But one can't help but wonder... is there more to this new human's visit?

Summary
Tenna had just intended to get his daughter back, a blue egg-like creature he had gotten when he was still working with that...rat of a mailman. All he wanted to do was confront said former business partner and get back his precious little girl. So when one of the Dreemurrs (worst of all, the only human Dreemurr) showed up asking for help, he knew he was in for more trouble than he bargained for.
Now with a pouty lightener in his hands, he's come to realize he may need his former partner's help more than he realized. On his journey not only does he end up learning more about the little lightner (who seems unbearably clingy to both darkners) but about himself and the mailman he once disregarded as junk.
OR: Pre-deltarune fic where Tenna and Spamton have to work together to get baby Kris back home, along the way being the reason Kris discovers their queer identity as well as realizing they both still need each other more than they'd like to admit.
