The dark Lord adopts Harry Potter. No, not that one. The other one. Mairon, Sauron, Gorthaur. That one. Olorin is understandably concerned that the Valar have chosen to leave the raising of an abused child to someone whose only touch with the subject had been slavery and selective breeding thus far, and so chooses to check in on the two regularly. And Mairon? Mairon is trying not to bash his head into his desk the more he learns about the wizarding world. Everywhere he looks, history repeats, only this time in a shattered mirror. It is as they say: The path to absolution never is an easy one.
Oh, and some of the old henchbeings are still around... Olorin is not amused.
Or: How Harry Potter was raised by a father and many uncles and aunts who were even by wizarding standards beyond comprehension.

Who ever said that death would be the end was dead wrong. Hah!
As well as the person who said death would be peaceful, because when he died again at the ripe old age of twenty-six, an entity he understood to be transparent and sort of oil slick rainbowy plucked him out of his body asked him a bunch of nonsensical questions by direct transference to his brain, and then promptly flicked him into the creation of a new universe.

Summary
Snippets of something that has been in my mind for far too long-
Harry as a wizard in Middle-Earth- not like Gandalf, but like wizarding world wizard. Mainly set during and around the timeline of the war of the ring.Won't update it very often, don't keep any hopes.
Also, while my Harry Potter knowledge is good, my Tolkien Lore isn't all that great (and I have refused to watch rings of power after seeing all the... reviews it got) so, do correct me if I make mistakes
