Summary
First days are the worst. 12 and a half years of K-12 schooling at 11 different schools. 4 years undergrad schooling plus 1 year graduate school and 4 months student teaching. Now, 5 whole years of teaching middle school Latin. Far, far too many first days of school for Mr. Percy Jackson.
He loves his job! Really! He’s always enjoyed helping kids learn new skills from being a sword instructor to inattentive hyperactive demigods at 17 to teaching Latin to pre-teens at 28. It’s just…that first day and all its uncertainty has always been stressful for Percy. Learning how to navigate brand new students, finding how to best command a class, finding…well there’s a lot of things to learn with a new class. GODS why didn’t he just join the army…scratch that Percy and authority figures do not mix. Anyway this class should be fun or a nightmare, probably the latter knowing a certain student on his class list.

Percy Jackson, son of a long line of fishermen, is pretty much a nobody in his hometown. He brings in an average bounty day in and day out, and most would struggle to tell you anything more exceptional about him other than that he lives alone with his mother and younger sister at the cliffs on the edge of town.

Summary
Percy is just trying to live the most peaceful life he can. He got into New Rome University, met a few of his godly siblings along the way, and is about to finish his freshman year of college when he meets a new godly sister of his, one who was once a demigod. Percy learns to find his footing with these new godly visits, and quickly realizes his newfound undersea family is more determined to make him a part of Atlantis than he originally thought.
In the meantime, something far from Atlantis is stirring, and Percy has this strange feeling he'll end up having to face it...
