Summary
For the first time, being wanted back doesn’t feel like a fantasy he's invented to torture himself. Someone will want him; that much is practically a given. "Hellooo!" Will croons as he sets the phone down on his bedside dresser, sitting crisscrossed on his bed.
"Hi!" Mike chirps back, unable to help the lovesick smile that spreads across his face.
"Guess what?" Will says, bouncing in place.
Will bites his lip, barely concealing his smile.
"What?" Mike asks.
"I said, guess." Will huffs, rolling his eyes fondly.
Mike hums to himself, pretending to think but really just taking a moment to take in the sight of Will on his phone screen. He looks so soft. Will is wearing the same outfit as Mike's lock screen. The same plain white t-shirt and soft gray sweats. It makes Mike want to wrap him up in a blanket and hide him away in his den.
