Summary
Canon Divergence where Ricky never shot Izzy, and Stede stayed on the Revenge to Captain with Izzy as (one) of his First Mates. Sort of a character study, where I wanted to put Izzy in Situations and it rather grew a life of its own. This fic is all about hurt/comfort tropes and bonding with Izzy, the crew, Stede, and Ed.

Summary: Canon divergence & extension of S2E6 where Low is intrigued by Izzy, so he torments him alongside Edward and Stede. Main pairings are Izzy/Edward with Steddyhands endgame, and a side helping of Ned/Izzy.
The noncon tag: Not overly explicit, further details in endnote“You’ve been hunting us for a while then....All to defend your honor?” Izzy let his tone radiate how he felt about such obsessiveness.
Low flashed him a grin. “Yes. I’m not one to do things by halves… And from what I heard and saw, neither is Blackbeard’s crew. But I can tell you are not Blackbeard’s any longer. I didn’t even have to fight for this, did I? Your capture, so easy, so boring…” He let his judgment fall on each of them, Izzy for the longest before focusing back on Edward. “I expected better.”
“You’re right,” Bonnet snapped, “We’re not just Blackbeard’s any more. We’re more than that. Ever heard of the Gentleman Pirate?”
He sounded so ridiculously proud of himself and Izzy had to resist rolling his eyes. Not helpful, but there was not much that could stop this mess.
