Miles blinked a few times, hoping perhaps that he was simply reading the time wrong, but no, the clock continued to stubbornly read twelve thirty-two AM even as he glared at it. 'Whoever this is better have a good reason for calling me,' he thought furiously, fumbling for the answer button. “Hello?” he said. “This is Miles Edgeworth.”
“Hi Mr. Edgeworth, do you think Pops killed my mom?”

Summary
In a moment, Klavier will play the opening notes of Trucy’s chosen fanfare and the show will start. The sound of enthusiastic clapping and Rayfa’s astonished “Pohlunka!” will almost drown out the sound of Vongole and Shah’do’s barking as Trucy pulls a startled Mikeko from her magic panties. And when it is over, Klavier will catch one of his hands in his own, pulling him behind the screen of the parachute curtain to place a firm and fond kiss at the edge of Apollo’s laughing mouth.
But for now, Apollo stands on the little stage, looking out with an undeniable feeling of warmth spreading through him that has very little to do with lingering embarrassment. Maybe Khura’in has changed him, too.

Here he is, almost crying in an elevator because his brother didn’t care enough to want to kill him.

Before Klavier could move a single muscle, it was as if the fabric of space seemed to warp around him. His surroundings darkened as a series of chains both in front of and behind Apollo extended from the floor and walls to the ceiling, accompanied by loud clatters as four large, red locks materialized onto them.
