Summary
Morgan bites back a sigh, knowing it wouldn’t make it better. He grabs what appears to be the untouched stack of casework, taking a handful of files off the top. Reid immediately interrupts, “It’s fine, Morgan, I can—”
“You can. But I’m helping you.”
(AKA Derek Morgan on learning to care for Spencer in anyway he can.)

Summary
Spencer knows: he is the aceldama. He’s the field, the blood, the battleground and the endgame. He can’t blame anyone for leaving. He’s the outlier in every situation, the mistake to crumble well-built walls, the badly thought out word that will take more from him than he ever thought he had in the first place.
You can’t blame them, he says to himself every time he thinks to be mad. You can’t blame them. You understand the variables. You know the common variable is you. It always has been.
Spencer Reid knows he'll lose them all eventually; Emily Prentiss needs to convince him this isn't true.

Summary
Rookie Spencer Reid is doubted by a detective, is belittled and mocked for the way his mind works.
His team wouldn't let that happen. And Spencer sure as hell wasn't going to prove that man right.
