"I see," Kyouji says fondly, his world already rearranging itself around this new information. "Satomi-kun's gone and become a father while I was away, hasn't he?"
Satomi rolls his eyes. "Look at her," he says, ignoring Kyouji's words entirely. "Doesn't she have the sweetest face?" His voice is quiet, so as not to disturb the sleeping fuzz ball in his arms—all black fur and pink little nose and paws that curl and release as she dozes. Satomi's eyes are glued to her, wide and soft behind the lenses of his glasses.
Yeah, Kyouji sees something sweet, all right, but it isn't the kitten Satomi's been cradling since he arrived.
Or, Satomi adopts a cat. Kyouji is smitten.

Also the system keeps warning him to keep away from truth serums or face a terrible cost. One of the serums came in a gun shaped bottle and says Checkov on it, what's that about?
