Summary
There is a difference between sound and noise. Sound provides information, something that can be translated into meaning and then further translated into an action. Noise, on the other hand, is the opposite of information. It confuses and distracts, and means nothing beyond rumbling and buzzing and grating and screeching. Except for when the noise reveals what couldn't be understood by the human brain regardless.
For the prompt: Ever since childhood, Matt Murdock could sense eldritch beings beyond human comprehension.

Summary
A typical run-in with a warehouse full of arms dealers takes a turn when Daredevil shows up to rain on Frank's parade, gets himself shot, and then uses the last of his strength to save Frank's life in a way Frank never would have expected.
Four days later, Matt wakes up in the hospital with a stomach wound he doesn't remember getting and a whole night missing from his head.
