The tremors on his body have a life of their own, and so does the desperation that pours out of his chest with each broken plea. He can't control anything anymore, not when her smile is not there to ground him.
He leaves Kori's hand carefully folded into Donna's, and repeats it, this time directly to Bruce. “We have to take her to the Lazarus pit.”
