Want, such a powerful word. And Agnes so desperately wanted to be wanted. But now was not the time to let herself get distracted. “Let him go,” she repeated more forcefully, hoping the Borg Queen didn’t notice how her arms had begun to shake.
“You’re along Agnes- in every timeline.” The head of Agnes’ gun dipped slightly as the Queen continued. “Every permutation in every reality of this universe… you are utterly alone.” She said the last few words slowly, daggers aimed at Agnes’ heart. And the Queen’s aim was flawless.
